The fishing pier
relocation amount to many hours of work, but, in the long term,
it is going to be an ideal location for the pier, putting it
out of the swimming area, away from the boat launch, and near
the trail for easy pedestrian access.

We also have plans to install new drinking fountains that will
be connected to City water in Orono Park, but that will have to
be a fall project.

JACKSON SQUARE PARKING LOT

Labor Days
Remove existing surface 4
Remove stumps (contractor)
Install storm drainage (contractor)
Install concrete curb & gutter (contractor)
Repair sidewalk cut 4
Install Class 5 base 10
Install bituminous surface 10
Paint stripe parking stalls 2
Install lighting system (contractor)
Install irrigation system 6

The total project should be completed in two weeks with
cooperation from the contractors and the weather, and close
coordination with our crews.
