VARIANCE REQUEST <br /> <br />Elgin Street, in the north end of the plat is 1220 feet in <br />length from the center line of Meadowvale Road to the end of <br />the right-of-way in the cul-de-sac, therefore, a variance is <br />needed. When this street is extended northward, for the <br />subdivision of property adjacent to the plat, this cul-de-sac <br />in question will meet the City's current 500 foot length. <br />Staff refers the Planning Commission to Section 900.40 of the <br />Elk River Code of Ordinances, which contains the five standards <br />to consider when reviewing a variance request. <br /> <br />. <br />
