The majority of the project would be <br />assessed to benefitted property owners. Staff was instructed <br />to update the 1985 feasibility study on this project in later <br />1990 and plan for the project to take place in 1991. <br /> <br />"Dam" Bridqe <br /> <br />Staff was instructed to continue current efforts to receive <br />Federal financing for this project. Preliminary work has been <br />completed by the City Engineer. Once financing is approved, <br />plans and specifications can be developed. Construction is <br />anticipated in approximately 1992. The majority of the <br />financing for this project would be non-City monies. <br /> <br />193rd Siqnal <br /> <br />The City Engineer is to work with MnDOT to ensure that this <br />project takes place in either 1991 or 1992. MnDOT has <br />indicated its willingness to the City to install this signal. <br />The City's share for this project is approximately $30,000 and <br />would come from the MSA fund. <br /> <br />Railroad Drive and 3rd Avenue <br /> <br />Staff was instructed to do preliminary work on this project in <br />anticipation of the improvement project taking place in 1992. <br />This project will take place in a commercial district on the \ '~. <br />north side of the railroad tracks. As no benefitted property <br />owners lie between the street and railroad tracks, a <br />significant amount of City MSA funding is necessary. <br />Additional beautification projects would need to be planned <br />into this project. Extensive engineering work is anticipated <br />in 1991. <br /> <br />Dodqe Avenue and 5th Street <br /> <br />Staff was instructed to review this project in a preliminary / <br />fashion. Some engineering field work may be conducted in <br />1990. The City will wait until it receives a valid petition <br />from the affected property owners along Dodge Avenue prior to <br />proceeding with this project. The City's maximum share for <br />Dodge Avenue is anticipated to be $100,000 and the City will <br />examine use of MSA Funds.
