It is anticipated that 173rd railroad <br />crossing would have to be financed by the City while the other <br />two railroad crossings would be financed by other governmental <br />agencies. The anticipated cost of this project is <br />approximately $125,000 and would come from the City MSA Fund. <br />Actual construction of the project would not be a City <br />responsibility. Planning is required now in order for the <br />project to take place no later than 1991. <br /> <br />dDYI~ <br /> <br />Sidewalk Replacement <br /> <br />Staff was instructed to continue the effort started in 1989 <br />regarding the improvement or removal of old sidewalks in the <br />core village area. The development and approval of a sidewalk <br />plan is required by the City Council. The City's participation <br />in the sidewalk replacement project would come from the Capital <br />Projects Fund in an amount not to exceed $30,000. <br /> <br />)~/aye.c{ <br />p.e,r ~c.... ~c.+toV\ <br /> <br />School Street Sidewalk <br /> <br />v-ej ed-eJ <br />c..Q... <br /> <br />Staff was instructed to proceed with a feasibility study to <br />examine the possibility of installing a sidewalk along the <br />south side of School Street. This project may expand to <br />include the east side of County Road #1. The majority of the <br />sidewalk would be assessed out to benefitted property owners <br />and limited City participation is anticipated.
