e MEETING OF THE ELK RIVER ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY HELD AT THE ELK RIVER CITY HALL MONDAY, APRIL 10, 2000 Members Present: President Dwyer, Commissioners, Gongoll, Klinzing, Thompson, Farber, and Motin Members Absent: None Staff Present: Marc Nevinski, Acting Director of Economic Development; Sandra Peine, City Clerk; and Pat Klaers, City Administrator 1. Call Meetina To Order Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the meeting of the Economic Development Authority was called to order at 5:30 p.m. by President Dwyer. 2. Consider 4/1 0/00 Aaenda The following item was added to the agenda: Chamber discussion e COMMISSIONER FARBER MOVED TO APPROVE THE APRIL 10, 2000, EDA AGENDA. COMMISSIONER MOTlN SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 6-0. 3. Consider Consent Aaenda COMMISSIONER MOTIN MOVED TO APPROVE THE CONSENT AGENDA AS FOLLOWS: 3.1. MARCH 13, 2000, EDA MINUTES - APPROVED 3.2. EDA CHECK REGISTER - APPROVED COMMISSIONER GONGOLL SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 6-0. 4. Open Mike No one appeared for open mike. 5. Appointment of Larrv Koenia to EDA President Dwyer recommended the appointment of Larry Koenig to the EDA. President Dwyer introduced Mr. Koenig. Larry Koenig introduced himself to the EDA and gave a history of his background relating to the City of Elk River. e COMMISSIONER KLINZING MOVED TO RECOMMEND THE APPOINTMENT OF LARRY KOENIG TO THE EDA TO REPLACE TOM BENDER WHO RECENTLY RESIGNED AND TO COMPLETE BENDER'S TERM ENDING 12/31/00. COMMISSIONER GONGOLL SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 6-0. 6. Update of Strateaic Industrial Marketina Plan - Anita Dukor
