"Are we organized appropriately or do we need a <br />different committee structure?" Mr. Mulrooney plans on working with <br />the EDC on this issue. <br /> <br />Carol Mills then continued by saying that information on the housing <br />survey had been received from Betty Kolar of Linden. Corp. and Cliff <br />Lundberg. She also gave a committee meeting report and stated that <br />August will be budget month. Mills suggested a booth at the Business <br />Expo to inform the public of the Star City program. Lundberg <br />suggested that the promotion committee handle this. <br /> <br />b. <br /> <br />Promotion <br />A meeting of the Promotion Committee has not been held. Wade Turner <br />had however. made the suggestion to Chairman Lundberg to turn the <br />slide presentation into a video. Dick Gongo11 continued by <br />suggesting turning what is already available into a video and <br />updating it as new slides and information are available. He also <br />suggested having Mike Mulrooney look at the presentation to make any <br />current updates. <br /> <br />Gongo11 stated that a promotional presentation had taken place to a <br />beverage company in which Turner participated. Other participants <br />were John Oliver on the land and site. Jeff Gongo11 representing the <br />EDC. a representative from All-Tool. and Pat K1aers representing the <br />City. <br /> <br />Gongo11 also stated that Mr. Turner had attended a meeting with Pat <br />Connoy from the State MNDEED along with Larry Toth. Pat K1aers and <br />himself. This was an informational meeting on the Star City program. <br />Gongo11 stated that the program is trying to become less detailed <br />and Mr. Connoy is not out promoting the program as much now as <br />compared to previous years. <br /> <br />Chairman Lundberg commented <br />the Beverage Company. <br />Warren Meyer. has signed <br />building and Bob Neary will <br />equipment for golf courses. <br /> <br />on the promotional work for Data Card and <br />Also. Marsh Optical. being represented by <br />a lease on a McChesney Industrial Park <br />be moving into a building specializing in <br /> <br />Discussion was held on the wording used by the Star News on the <br />rejection from the Beverage Company. <br /> <br />Elaine Anderson will be contacting the new businesses to get their <br />plans for press coverage. <br />
