Call Meeting to Order <br /> <br />Chairman Tracy called the meeting to order at 7:40 p.m. <br /> <br />2. Agenda <br /> <br />COMMISSIONER PEARCE MOVED TO APPROVE THE AGENDA FOR THE JUNE 28, 1982 PLANNING <br />COMMISSION MEETING. COMMISSIONER GUNKEL SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION PASSED <br />5-0. <br /> <br />3. Minutes <br /> <br />COMMISSIONER PEARCE MOVED TO APPROVE THE MINUTES OF THE MAY 24, 1982 PLANNING COM- <br />MISSION MEETING AS PUBLISHED. COMMISSIONER GUNKEL SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION <br />PASSED 5-0. <br /> <br />4. Consider Barthel PUD Preliminary Plat and Conditional Use Permit <br /> <br />Chairman Tracy indicated that the Planning Commission has dealt with this request <br />at past Planning Commission meetings. At the June 21, 1982 City Council meeting, <br />the City Council referred this request back to the Planning Commission for one final <br />look. The City Council will deal with this request at their July 12th, 1982 City <br />Council meeting. Chairman Tracy discussed the City Administrator's memo to the <br />Planning Commission of July 25th, 1982. Chairman Tracy further indicated that he <br />would allow the Barthel people to address the Planning Commission. Chairman Tracy <br />also indicated that the public would be allowed to address the Planning Commission <br />and the Barthel people regarding any questions they had concerning this request. <br /> <br />Robert Middaugh, the City Administrator, indicated that Barthel had a new proposal <br />to present to the Planning Commission at tonight's meeting that could possibly answer <br />some of the concerns and questions staff had regarding their previous proposala The <br />City Administrator further asked the Planning Commission if the Barthel group could <br />present their proposal first before he discussed his memo. <br /> <br />Marlin Hutchinson, Barthel, indicated that Barthel did have a new proposal to present <br />tonight. Before Mr. Hutchinson gave the particulars of the new proposal, he indica- <br />ted that he would go through some of the various studies Barthel had done by their <br />people and explain again where Barthel came up with some of the figures in their <br />studies regarding the size of shopping center being proposed. <br />
