Meeting Called to Order <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order by Commissioner Tracy at 7:35 p.m. <br /> <br />2. Agenda <br /> <br />Item 4~, Roger Dickinson - Zone Change - was added to the Agenda. <br /> <br />3" Minutes <br /> <br />The minutes of September 28, 1981 meeting were approved as published. <br /> <br />4. Mrs. Bonnie Breyen, Home Occupation Request <br /> <br />Mrs. Breyen.was present for this request. The Commissioners questioned if it <br />might be advantageous for Mrs. Breyen to delay this request until the adoption <br />of the new definition of home occupations. Mr. Tracy said it might delay her <br />too long, and 'tvould not be to her advantage to 'tvait. Mrs. Breyen 'tvill be sell- <br />ing decorating supplies out of her honi~. She has sold finished decorated cakes <br />in the past, but this will not be a part of her business. She was advised she <br />could have only one non-r~sident employee; have only two customers at a time in <br />the hom~, and hours limited between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. Commissioner Pearce <br />asked about the traffic this might generate, but she felt that there would be no <br />more than usual for a residential area. Customers would be mostly "drop in" rather <br />than tlcall inti. <br /> <br />COMMISSIONER DRIESSEN MOVED TO APPROVE THE CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR A TI~O-YEAR <br />RENEWAL.FOR MRS. BREYEN. COMtfISSIONER"BUSCH SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION <br />PASSED 3-0. - <br /> <br />4k <br />2. <br /> <br />Roger Dickinson - Zone Change Request <br /> <br />~tr. Dickinson was present for this request. He said he needs more room to wash <br />his busses and would like a permit to add 35 to 40 feet onto the end of the build- <br />ing. He is presently '\vashing his busses 'tvhere mechanic \vork is done and it gets <br />quite wet. Mr. Dickinson said it is an ideal location for the busses being two <br />blocks from the schools and his home is there also. The property is 14.6 acres <br />and he has talked with his neighbors, who have no objections. <br /> <br />Discussion followed with the Commissioner's feeling that this could create an <br />island of commercial in a residential zoned area. A garage maintained by the <br />Highway Department and 5 acres of City o'\Vlled property in the vicinity were also <br />
