<br /> <br />City of Elk River <br />Golf Course Clubhouse Coordinator <br />Position Description <br /> <br />Department: <br />Park and Recreation <br />FLSA Status: <br />Non-Exem <br /> <br />Pay Grade: <br /> <br />Immediate Supervisor: <br />Golf Course Su erintendent <br />Last Updated: (date) <br />03/20/06 <br /> <br /> <br />7 <br />Positions Supervised: <br /> <br />Seasonal Clubhouse Attendant <br /> <br />Position Summary <br />The Golf Course Clubhouse Coordinator manages all golf course operations and scheduling; <br />including supervision of the daily operations of the pro shop and clubhouse facilities, golf lessons, <br />greens fees, cart rental, merchandising, purchasing, display and sales. This position also assists with <br />promotions and marketing. <br /> <br />Essential Functions <br />1. Orders inventory and maintains merchandise, materials, supplies, small equipment, and <br />services. <br />A. Orders, receives, moves, and maintains inventory merchandise, materials and small <br />equipment for clubhouse. <br />B. Supplies and checks out equipment/uniforms/supplies. <br /> <br />2. Provides scheduling, maintenance and security of facilities and equipment. <br />A. Coordinates schedules to assure proper scheduling and payment procedures. <br />B. Sets up and maintains clubhouse. <br />e. Performs routine cleaning and preventative maintenance of equipment. <br />D. Notifies Golf Course Superintendent of any repairs and/or maintenance requiring <br />attention from a service contractor. <br />E. Monitors and maintains security of the facilities. <br />F. Maintains all licenses and inspections required for operation of the clubhouse. <br /> <br />3. Performs personnel and supervision activities. <br />A. Delegates work and schedules employees. <br />B. Works shifts as needed. <br />e. Assesses employee performance. <br />D. Reports any potential concerns and/or problems to Recreation Manager. <br /> <br />4. Performs sales and fmancial activities. <br />A. Rings up sales, receipt payments, give change, etc. <br />B. Maintains change/refund fund in accordance with jurisdiction. <br />e. Prepares bank deposits. <br />D. Coordinates the receipt and deposit of money. <br />E. Ensures liquor sales are made in accordance with state and local liquor laws. <br /> <br />Page 1 <br />
