<br />e <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />Park and Recreation Commission Minutes <br />October 3, 1990 <br /> <br />Page 3 <br /> <br />7. <br /> <br />Staff Updates <br /> <br />Park Superintendent, Phil Hals, updated the Commission on the status of <br />the proposed youth fields behind Lincoln School. It was noted that the <br />development of these fields are on hold until spring, 1991. Mr. Hals <br />is currently having discussions with School Athletic Director, Mike <br />Hanlon, regarding the development of these fields. <br /> <br />Phil indicated to the Commission that at the next meeting he would <br />discuss a City park policy of reserving parks for various citizens and <br />groups. The policy would include a deposit to reserve the parks and <br />having the deposit refunded, provided the park was cleaned up after use <br />of the facility. <br /> <br />The City Administrator updated the Commission on pending City Council <br />review of park dedication fees for commercial and industrial <br />developments. It was noted that the City Council will be reviewing a <br />recommendation from the Planning Commission at its October 15, 1990, <br />meeting. <br /> <br />8. Other Business <br /> <br />There was no other business discussed at this time. <br /> <br />9. <br /> <br />Adjournment <br /> <br />There being no further business, BARB NORTHWAY MOVED TO ADJOURN THE <br />PARK AND RECREATION COMMISSION MEETING. BYRON HOUGHTELIN SECONDED THE <br />MOTION.
