The Finance Division will coordinate all additions and revisions to the 10-year vehicle <br />and equipment replacement plan with the Public Works Supervisor as part of the <br />Capital Improvement planning process. The Public Works Supervisor will accumulate all <br />requests and submit the 10-year vehicle and equipment replacement schedule, list of <br />additions and revisions, and any other suggestions to the Finance Division. The City <br />Administrator will have final approval to all vehicle and equipment purchases and <br />recommendation to the City Council for approval. <br />f. Repurposed assets will be maintained for a minimum of four (4) years before they are <br />scheduled for replacement with another repurposed asset. <br />g. Asset reconditioning will be utilized where available. <br />h. State contracts will be the standard method for asset purchases; other procurement <br />options may also be considered. <br />Page 66 of 99
