The responsible authority is responsible for the collection, use, and <br />dissemination of government data. This designation is required to be adopted by resolution and must include <br />the name of the specific individual who is appointed. With the retirement of the City Clerk, the attached <br />resolution lists Records Coordinator Dawn Robertson as the new responsible authority. Data Practices <br />designees are also required to be appointed by resolution. The attached resolution includes those names for <br />various departments. <br /> <br />City Administrator Cal Portner remains the Data Practices Compliance Officer (DPCO), who is responsible <br />for ensuring the city adheres to regulatory, legal, and ethical standards.
