Daly, and Mrs. Joseph Huseth, representing the Community <br />Club of Elk River, ask for the privilege of using the Building for their meetings and also for <br />holding special meetings and entertainments for the good of the order. Their request was granted <br />by a unanimous vote. The Council stating that the new building was built for the use of the <br />people for any legitimate purpose in the interest of the Village. <br />Bills paid: <br />Charles Roggatz coal for Village Hall - $54.71 <br />Dare Furniture Co. furniture for Council - $85.00 <br />Fred Ayer Janitor and other labor - $12 <br />March 3 No Bills for March <br />April 1 <br />It was voted to lower the sidewalk on the south side of Depot St. from the Post Office to Quincy <br />St. in order to connect with walk to the new Village Hall. (Lowering sidewalk).
