<br /> <br /> 41 <br />June 2025 <br />236096v1 <br />Regular full-time and regular part-time Employees are eligible for a Longevity Bonus when <br />they qualify as set forth in this Section. <br />Regular full-time employees are eligible to receive a Longevity Bonus once each time they <br />qualify by reaching a milestone anniversary date in accordance with the following <br />schedule: <br /> <br />Milestone: Years of Service Longevity Pay Amount <br /> <br />8 years $1,550 <br />12 years $2,025 <br />16 years $2,100 <br />20 years $2,125 <br />24 years $2,300 <br />28 years $3,000 <br />32 years $3,000 <br /> <br />Regular part-time employees are eligible to receive a Longevity Bonus once each time <br />they qualify by reaching a milestone anniversary date in accordance with the following <br />schedule: <br /> <br />Milestone: Hours of Service Longevity Bonus Amount <br /> <br />16,640 $1,550 <br />24,960 $2,025 <br />33,280 $2,100 <br />41,600 $2,125 <br />49,920 $2,300 <br />58,240 $3,000 <br />66,560 $3,000 <br /> <br />A Longevity Bonus is paid in one lump sum within 60 days of the anniversary date on <br />which the Employee reaches the relevant milestone. Qualifying Employees who are <br />eligible for a Longevity Bonus will be invited to the monthly Commission meeting in the <br />month of their anniversary date, where the Commission Chair and the Employee’s manager <br />will present the Longevity Bonus paycheck to the Employee(s). <br /> <br />Because longevity pay is considered supplemental income by the Internal Revenue Service, <br />22% will be withheld in taxes from the employee’s longevity pay during check processing. <br /> <br /> <br />35. PAYCHECK DEDUCTIONS <br /> <br />By law, the Utilities is required to withhold federal and state taxes, FICA and PERA from <br />an employee’s pay. The Utilities also has a Health Care Savings Plan with mandatory <br />participation and will withhold applicable amounts from an employee’s pay.
