Proclamation <br />Recognizing K9 Duke for his Service in the City of Elk River, Minnesota <br />WHEREAS, K9 Duke has served the community with dedication as a valuable member of our law <br />enforcement team since June 2018; and <br />WHEREAS, K9 Duke has played an integral role in enhancing public safety, contributing to the <br />apprehension of suspects, detection of narcotics, and search and rescue efforts; and <br />WHEREAS, the partnership between K9 Duke and his handler, Officer Kevin Heldt has been a <br />positive example of the dedication and teamwork essential to effective law enforcement; and <br />WHEREAS, it is fitting and appropriate to recognize the outstanding service of K9 Duke and <br />express our gratitude for the important role that our K9 officers play in maintaining the safety and <br />security of our community; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that I, John J.
