City of Elk River <br />Housing and Redevelopment Authority <br />Resolution 25-02 <br />A Resolution Approving Compensation for HRA Commissioners <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the authority granted in Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 469, the City <br />of Elk River, Sherburne County, Minnesota (the “City”) established the Housing and <br />Redevelopment Authority in and for the City of Elk River, Minnesota (“HRA”) to serve the City <br />for the purposes as prescribed in Minnesota Statutes, Section 469.001, as amended; and <br />WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes, Section 469.011, Subdivision 4 provides that each <br />commissioner of a housing and redevelopment authority “may be paid up to $75.00 for attending <br />each regular and special meeting of the authority”; and <br />WHEREAS, the HRA desires to pay its commissioners; and <br />WHEREAS, commencing May 1, 2025, commissioners of the HRA will begin receiving <br />payment at the rate of $75.00 for attending each regular and special meeting of the HRA, in an <br />amount not to exceed $900 per year; and <br />WHEREAS, adoption of this resolution will formally approve payment of compensation <br />to the HRA Commissioners. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Housing and Redevelopment <br />Authority in and for the City of Elk River, Minnesota that commencing May 1, 2025, HRA <br />commissioners shall be paid at the rate of $75.00 for attending each regular and special meeting <br />of the authority, in an amount not to exceed $900 per year. <br />Passed and adopted this 7th day of April, 2025. <br />______________________________________ <br />Denny Chuba, President <br />ATTEST: <br />_______________________________ <br />Brent O’Neil <br />Executive Director
