Continue to reduce road salt usage while maintaining <br />safe winter driving surfaces through utilization of new equipment and applying BMPs for chemical <br />application. Develop a plan of action for future liquid deicing equipment. <br />Crack seal, pothole repair, mill and overlay, reclamation, and other procedures to maintain bituminous <br />roadways, parking lots, and trails to a 70% standard utilizing the Paser scoring system. <br />Continue to inspect and replace regulatory signage throughout the city. Update citywide signage for <br />consistency. Maintain railroad quiet zone delineators to BNSF standard. <br />EAB Management <br />Conduct EAB infested tree removal of publicly owned ash trees from road rights-of-way utilizing a <br />systematic approach in accordance with the city's EAB Management Plan. Provide public notice to <br />residents utilizing social media outlets, the city website, and door-knockers in affected areas.
