1. When a non-exempt employee is engaged in travel which keeps the <br />employee away from home overnight and which cuts across a regular <br />workday; <br />2. When a non-exempt employee travels to a special one -day work assignment <br />in another city that does not require an overnight stay; <br />3. When a non-exempt employee spends time traveling as part of the <br />employer's principal activity; <br />4. When a non-exempt employee spends time traveling between home and <br />work in "call back" or "emergency" situations; and <br />5. When a non-exempt employee performs work during travel. <br />Overtime (at one and a half times the regular rate of pay) will be paid in connection with <br />training or travel time only when, and to the extent, that an employee's total compensated <br />hours in a workweek exceed 40.
