City of Elk River <br />City Council <br />Resolution 24-____ <br />A Resolution of the Planning Commission of the City of Elk River Finding <br />that the Sale of Property is Consistent with the Elk River Comprehensive <br />Plan <br />WHEREAS,the City of Elk River (“City”) has agreed to terms with Heritage Millwork <br />(“Buyer”)for the sale of approximately 14.06 acres of Outlot B, Elk River Business Park <br />Fourth Addition (“Property”); and <br />WHEREAS,the City would sell the Property for use as a light manufacturing use, which is <br />a permitted use under the city’s zoning ordinance; and <br />WHEREAS,the City of Elk River Comprehensive Plan guides the Property for Business <br />Park uses, which include light manufacturing; and <br />WHEREAS,Minn. Stat. 462.356, subd. 2 requires the Planning Commission to review the <br />City’s proposed disposition of property for consistency with the Comprehensive Municipal <br />Plan. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Planning Commission of the City of <br />Elk River, Minnesota, as follows: The sale of the Property described above is consistent <br />with the Comprehensive Municipal Plan. <br />Passed and adopted this 28th day of May 2024. <br />Pery Beise, Planning Commission Chair <br />ATTEST: <br />Tina Allard, City Clerk <br />Page 71 of 71
