The Comprehensive Plan and zoning map guide <br />the property for Business Park/light industrial uses. Allowed uses include light manufacturing and other similar <br />uses. <br /> <br />The city has received an offer from Heritage Millwork to purchase approximately 14 acres of the subject <br />property for use as a light manufacturing facility. The proposed use is consistent with the Comprehensive Plan <br />and zoning ordinance. <br /> <br />Minnesota Statute 462.36 requires the Planning Commission to review a proposed sale of city-owned <br />property to ensure the proposed use is consistent with the Comprehensive Plan.
