Rolling Hills Pond Dredging <br />Ell< River, Minnesota <br />S-11 Traffic Control <br />All traffic control devices (construction signs, barricades and barricade weights, <br />flaggers, warning lights, cones, drums, trailers, pavement markings, flagmen, etc.) shall conform and <br />be installed in accordance to the "Minnesota Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices" <br />(MIVIUTCD) and Part VI, "Field Manual for Temporary Traffic Control Zone Layouts", the "Guide <br />to Establishing Speed Limits in Highway Work Zones", the Minnesota Flagging Handbook, the <br />provisions of Mn/DOT 1404 and 1710, the Minnesota Standard Signs Manuals Parts I and II, the <br />Traffic Engineering Manual, the Traffic Control Layouts/Typical Traffic Control Layouts in the Plans, <br />and these Special Provisions. <br />At the time of initial set up and at the time of major stage changes,100 percent of each <br />type of device shall be classified as acceptable. The acceptable devices shall be determined by using <br />the guidelines set in the Temporary Traffic Control Zone Layout Field Manual. During the duration <br />of the project, the acceptable devices may decrease to 75 percent with 25 percent of the devices <br />marginal. Furnishing, installing, maintaining, relocating, and subsequently removing traffic control <br />devices as required will be considered incidental to the project. <br />S-12 Inspection Of Work <br />The City of Elk River will provide Observation of the work. City, County, or State <br />agencies having jurisdiction as deemed necessary by those authorities, may make additional <br />observation of the work. <br />S-13 Mobilization <br />Mobilization is considered incidental and should be considered in the bids of <br />individual items. <br />End of Section <br />Division S S-5 <br />
