Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities <br />❑ Knowledge of all standaYd office equipment. <br />❑ Knowledge of law enforcement and pYosecutorial pYocedures. <br />❑ Kno`vledge of principles, practices, and procedures of the legal process and how legislation, <br />law enforcement, the courts, and sentencing procedures interact with one another. <br />❑ Skilled in effectivelyT navigating social media and various internet-based investigative <br />resources. <br />❑ AbilityT to pass and maintain all required certifications. <br />❑ AbilityT to maintain confidentiality- of sensitive material. <br />❑ AbilityT to organize and prioritize workload. <br />❑ AbilityT to establish effective working relationships. <br />❑ AbilityT to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing. <br />❑ Abilityr to establish beneficial Yelationships foY the benefit of the city and the police <br />department. <br />❑ AbilityT to attend training on topics relevant to job duties. <br />Minimum Qualifications <br />❑ Bachelor's degree in criminal justice/law enforcement, forensic science, or related field OR <br />associate degree in criminal justice/law enforcement, forensic science, or related field and <br />two (2) years of related work experience. <br />❑ State certification of Criminal Justice Information SyTstem or ability to obtain within six <br />months of date of hire. <br />❑ Certified in Cellebrite, DataPilot, and 40-hour intelligence analysis or the abilityT to obtain <br />certifications within one year of date of hire. <br />❑ Valid driver's license and good driving record. <br />Preferred Qualifications <br />❑ Experience with a law enforcement agenc�J. <br />❑ Experience with propertyT/evidence handling and processing. <br />❑ Knowledge of the Minnesota Government Data Practices Act. <br />❑ Cellebrite certification. <br />❑ DataPilot certification. <br />❑ 40-hour intelligence analyTsis certification. <br />This Position Description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
