Sherburne Wright Cable Commission <br />Meeting Minutes from 72-75-22 <br />Page 2 of 2 <br />6. <br />Eauil2ment Report <br />Bill Bruce provided the equipment report dated December 9, 2022. Mr. Bruce commented on <br />the continual update and work on meeting rooms in the various cities. <br />He highlighted some of the AV upgrades: <br />• Delano — camera system and Barco Clickshare/Huddle Room <br />• Monticello Public Works meeting room/menu board <br />• Buffalo Fire Department Active 911 System/Utilities Campus/Hockey <br />Arena/Community Center <br />• Elk River Fire Station/EOC/ Streets and Parks Building <br />• Summer Events — parades/carnival/drive in movie/movie in the park <br />Mr. Bruce noted that Rockford made a request for live streaming equipment. Streaming <br />capability would have a one-time fee of $4,995 with an annual cost of $1,788. <br />Commissioner Wolbeck made a motion to approve streaming equipment for the City <br />of Rockford. Seconded by Commissioner Bodin. Unanimous ayes, motion carried. <br />Mr. Bruce requested that all cities provide their Movie in the Park and parade dates. <br />Personnel Committee <br />Commissioner Wolbeck gave a brief report and noted that Jackson Groskruetz continues to <br />be available for contracted work. He is currently contracted at cost of $350 flat fee, with an <br />additional $35/hour after so many hours. <br />Commissioner Bodin made a motion to use Jackson Groskruetz as a consultant and <br />have the Personnel Committee negotiate contract and fee structure and if reasonable <br />there is no requirement to bring back to the Cable Commission for approval. Seconded <br />by Commissioner Eckerly. Unanimous ayes, motion carried. <br />Other Business <br />Bill Bruce mentioned that each city is provided two free cable services. He requested the <br />names of those using the service to provide reimbursement. There was discussion about a <br />former employee in Maple Lake with a cable boxes. The employee should be notified that <br />there is the option of terminating the cable service or taking over payment. <br />Commissioner Wolbeck made a motion to allow individuals to retain the service until <br />they leave their current position with said city. Seconded by Commissioner Eckerly. <br />Unanimous ayes, motion carried. <br />Bill Bruce noted that Laureen Bodin was retiring, and this was her last meeting.
