THE <br />MOTION CARRIED 7-0. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Jeff Asfahl suggested that information regarding the upcoming Park & Recreation <br />park bond be included in the Community Ed brochure which goes to 17,000 <br />homes. Jeff noted information could be made available at the Community <br />Education office during program registration which begins September 6Ih.. Also, <br />handouts regarding the referendum could be distributed in mid-September to <br />program participants on the first day of activities. <br /> <br />Jeff also indicated that when the irrigation of fields at Salk was done, there was <br />an opportunity to correct a line for backstops. By making this correction an <br />additional 70 to 75 feet was gained which will increase the ability to use soccer <br />field # 1 and ball diamonds concurrently. <br /> <br />8. Update - San Dieqo Plannina Conference - John Kuester <br /> <br />Commissioner Kuester distributed a summary of the Planning Conference he <br />attended which was held in April of this year. <br /> <br />12. Adiournment <br /> <br />There being no further business, COMMISSIONER DAVE ANDERSON MOVED TO <br />ADJOURN THE MEETING. COMMISSIONER MADSEN SECONDED THE MOTION.
