Phil will <br />revise the handout and include a map highlighting the main parks and ballfields. <br /> <br />12. Discussion on Decision Resources Executive Summary <br /> <br />It was the consensus of the Park & Rec Commissioners to accept the Decision <br />Resources Executive Summary. <br /> <br />13. Discussion of Park Bond Issues <br /> <br />Members of the Commission and staff discussed a proposal for park <br />improvements for possible inclusion in the park bond issue. such as lighting. <br />shelters, concession buildings, restrooms. playground equipment, swimming pool <br />and bathhouse. <br /> <br />14. Set Meetinq Date for Master Park Plan Aoproval with City Council <br /> <br />June 23, 1997 was tentatively scheduled for a joint meeting of the Park & <br />Recreation Commissioner and City Council. <br /> <br />15. <br /> <br />Staff Updates <br /> <br />15.1. Queen Street Park <br /> <br />Phil noted staff has leveled out some of the holes. cleaned up trash and mowed <br />the Queen Street park. Chair Anderson questioned the possibility of selling the <br />park to adjoining property owners. Phil will research the history of the park and <br />report back to the Commission at next month I s meeting. Chair Anderson <br />suggested each of the Commissioners visit the site before the meeting. <br /> <br />15.2. Hiqhland Watermain Proiect (Sidewalk) <br /> <br />COMMISSIONER ROLF ANDERSON MOVED TO RECOMMEND THE CITY COUNCIL <br />AUTHORIZE CONSTRUCTION OF A 6 FOOT SIDEWALK ON THE NORTH SIDE OF <br />HIGHLAND, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE HIGHLAND WATERMAIN PROJECT. <br />COMMISSIONER OLSON SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 7-0. <br /> <br />17. Adiournment <br /> <br />There being no further business, COMMISSIONER OLSON MOVED TO ADJOURN THE <br />MEETING. COMMISSIONER MADSEN SECONDED THE MOTION.
