<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Elk River Park and Recreation Commission <br />NovemberS, 1995 <br /> <br />Page 3 <br /> <br />Administrator suggested coordinating the grand opening of the park with the <br />opening at the golf course for possible use of the golf carts. <br /> <br />Phil Hals explained that UPA has a power line located in the path of the <br />Meadowvale Heights trail. He stated it would cost $5,000 to remove the pole. <br /> <br />Phil Hals stated the Street/Parks Department hired a new laborer and will have <br />him flood and plow the rinks at Handke Stadium and Lions Park. Commissioner <br />Madsen suggested making an ice trail around Lions Park. <br /> <br />Chair Anderson updated the commission on the grant hearing for the land <br />purchase from Shiely. The purchase price will be $91,000. The city has a grant <br />approval for $45,500. Phil stated the issue will be brought to the Planning <br />Commission on November 28, 1995, and to the City Council on December 18, <br />1995, for a public hearing. <br /> <br />8. Other Business <br /> <br />Phil Hals stated the Master Park Plan is now at the Planning Commission level. It <br />will be considered by the City Council at a future date. <br /> <br />9. <br /> <br />Adiournment <br /> <br />There being no further business, COMMISSIONER DANA ANDERSON MOVED TO <br />ADJOURN THE MEETING. COMMISSIONER DONAIS SECONDED THE MOTION.
