UDdate on Grant ADDlication for ProDerty Purchase using the DNR Natural and <br />Scenic Area Grant Program <br /> <br />Dave Anderson presented this item. A tour with the DNR took place through the 30 <br />acre parcel in which a grant was applied for. In conclusion, there were not many <br />applications for this grant, thus, making it more probable for us to receive this <br />grant. <br /> <br />12. Consider Jackson Square Usage for Lioness Club Fund-raiser <br /> <br />Commissioner Tuttle presented this item. The Lioness' would like to use Jackson <br />Square on either March 23rd or March 30th for a fund-raiser. <br /> <br />13. StaffUDdates <br /> <br />Phil Hals updated the commission on the dismantling of the slide in the Deerfield 4 <br />park. The public remarked that it was a very popular item. Improvements were <br />discussed on this project. Phil Hals will be getting back to the commission with <br />prices to put the slide back into operation. <br /> <br />No further staff updates took place. <br /> <br />14. <br /> <br />Other Business <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Dave Anderson requested that someone be present for the June 19th City Council <br />meeting regarding Lafayette Woods. The river front corridor project was discussed <br />briefly. The river front corridor committee- will meet June 29th and July 20th at <br />6:30 p.m. Dave Anderson presented the Garden Club item. A brief update on the <br />upcoming Steering Committee meeting was held. <br /> <br />15. Adjournment <br /> <br />There being no further business, COMMISSIONER TUTTLE MOVED TO <br />ADJOURN THE MEETING, COMMISSIONER DALEIDEN SECONDED THE <br />MOTION.
