Consider Ski Trail Groomer - Dave Anderson

Chair Anderson stated that the local ski club has been given a Polaris snowmobile
that could be used to pull a small ski trail groomer that could be used for minor
grooming touch ups, grooming for school races, or grooming when snow falls are
light. This snowmobile and groomer would be operated by ski club volunteers.

The Commissioners received literature on a Tid Tech groomer that is available. It
was the consensus of the Park and Recreation Commission that due to the short
remaining season, Chair Anderson should come back at a future meeting with a
firm price including delivery and at this point the Commission supports the
purchase.

9. He also explained
that the City continues to look for suitable park property and since we are still two
months away from the construction season, the Commission may want to discuss
this item further at a future meeting.
