<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Park & Recreation Commission Minutes <br />April 13, 1994 <br /> <br />Page 5 <br /> <br />COMMISSIONER L1PETZKY MOVED THAT THE PARK AND RECREATION COMMISSION <br />WOULD ENDORSE THE IDEA OF UNDERGROUND UTILITY LINES IN LIEU OF OVERHEAD <br />LINES AS A GENERAL PRACTICE, AND IN PARK SETTINGS IN PARTICULAR, AND WOULD <br />REQUEST THAT ANY FUTURE INSTALLATION PLANS FOR LINE CONSTRUCTION <br />ADJACENT TO PARKS COME BEFORE THIS COMMISSION FOR REVIEW. <br />COMMISSIONER DANA ANDERSON SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED <br />6-0. <br /> <br />12. <br /> <br />Update on Ice Rink Costs <br /> <br />Phil Hals stated that he did not have all of the necessary costs for developing <br />additional ice rinks at this time. <br /> <br />13. Discussion on Community Athletics - Steve Rohlf <br /> <br />Steve Rohlf explained the rationale for arriving at the numbers that were used to <br />develop this facility analysis and the ways that these forms can be used to <br />indicate the amount of property that needs to be acquired to accommodate <br />recreation activities when the City reaches full development. It was the <br />consensus of the Commission members that it would be a good idea to revisit this <br />issue next month after everyone has had an opportunity to think through the <br />issues. <br /> <br />14. <br /> <br />Staff Updates/Other Business <br /> <br />There was no other business presented. <br /> <br />15. <br /> <br />Adiournment <br /> <br />There being no further business, COMMISSIONER DANA ANDERSON MOVED TO <br />ADJOURN THE MEETING. COMMISSIONER OLSON SECONDED THE MOTION.
