<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />property, so Mr. Kostreba requested that a building of approximately 30' x 60' <br />could be built on City park property and be used and maintained by the Boy <br />Scouts. <br /> <br />Chair Dave Anderson suggested that maybe the building could be enlarged to <br />meet the storage needs of six different youth athletic associations. The building <br />would then need to be 40' x 80'. <br /> <br />After a lengthy discussion, it was the consensus of the Park and Recreation <br />Commission to consider any options that may be available and discuss them at a <br />future meeting. <br /> <br />11 .4. Orono Park <br /> <br />Phil Hals presented a request from Council member Holmgren that the Park and <br />Recreation Commission reconsider options regarding the removal of Kuss field <br />from Orono Park and the construction of two ballfields on the E & 0 Tool property. <br />After a brief discussion, it was the consensus of the Commission that: <br /> <br />a. It is a viable option if the City buys the fairgrounds parking lot and the <br />fairgrounds remains in its present location; <br /> <br />b. If the fairgrounds are relocated, the City should consider four fields on the <br />fairground site; <br /> <br />c. It will require two unlit fields to replace the one lighted field; <br /> <br />otherwise the project should remain on hold. <br /> <br />12. <br /> <br />Adiournment <br /> <br />Due to the lateness of the hour, COMMISSIONER OLSON MOVED TO ADJOURN THE <br />MEETING. COMMISSIONER DALEIDEN SECONDED THE MOTION.
