<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Elk River Park & Recreation Commission Meeting <br />November 17, 1993 <br /> <br />Page 3 <br /> <br />Commissioner Anderson arrived at this time (8:20 p.m.) <br /> <br />The Park and Recreation Commissioners identified the following physical <br />barriers: <br /> <br />Lake Orono and the Elk River <br />The Burlington'Northern Railroad track <br />U.S. Highway 10 <br />U.S. Highway 169 <br />Jackson Road, Highway 10 to Highway 169 <br />County Road 30 and Main street from Orono bridge to Waco Street <br />School street <br />County Road 1 (Proctor from Highway 10 to County Road 32) <br />Gates and Freeport Avenues, Main Street to School street <br />East Main Street, including County Roads 12 and 13 <br />193rd, Highway 169 to Tyler street <br />Joplin extension from County Road 30 to U.S. Highway 10 <br />Proctor (County Road 44) <br /> <br />steve Rohlf then handed out a list of undeveloped property (Item #5), <br />within the urban district that are greater than 5 acres in size. <br /> <br />Commissioner Lipetzky left at this time (9:00 p.m.) <br /> <br />The Commissioners identified Park Service Area #1 which is bordered by <br />the Elk River on the north and west, Highway 10 on the south and Lake <br />Orono on the east. <br /> <br />This area includes parcels D, E, F, G, L, M, N, 0, and P. A <br />neighborhood park was identified on parcels Land N. <br /> <br />Park Service Area #2 <br />This area includes sites <br />identified on Parcel B. <br /> <br />North of the Elk River, West of Troy Street. <br />A, B, and C. A neighborhood park was <br /> <br />Park Service Area #3 - North of the Elk River between Troy Street and <br />Meadowvale Road. Includes parcels H, I, J, K, and V with the park <br />located on parcels J and K. <br /> <br />Commissioner O'Brien left at this time (9:30 p.m.) <br /> <br />Park Service Area #4 - North of the Burlington Northern Railroad tracks <br />west of County Road l/Meadowvale Road. Meadowvale Heights and one half <br />of parcel 2 served by Meadowvale Heights park. <br /> <br />Park Service Area #5 - North and east of County Road 1, west of Proctor <br />Road. Parcels Y, 1/2 of 2, AA, BB, CC, and DD. Meadowvale School <br />serves as the neighborhood park. <br /> <br />Park Service Area #6 - East of Proctor, west of Jackson. Parcels FF, <br />GG, JJ, and Ridgewood East. Served by Ridgewood East park and Salk <br />School. <br />
