Discuss Legal opinion on Sale of Dedicated Park Property <br /> <br />Phil Hals stated it was the City Attorney's opinion was that it is very <br />difficult to sell property that has been dedicated for park use. This <br />opLnLon will be cause for concern when the Lakoduk property is <br />developed. <br /> <br />Phil Hals stated that the same legal opLnLon would make it difficult to <br />impossible for the City to sell the Moldenhauer Park. <br /> <br />10. Staff Updates <br /> <br />Phil Hals gave the following updates: <br /> <br />a. No plat on the Lakoduk property has come forward. <br /> <br />b. No plat on Kincannon's Outlot A has come forward. <br /> <br />c. No further contact with Gagne on-the Waco Street property. <br /> <br />d. The EDA Main Street Redevelopment site was featured in a 10/13/93 <br />Star News article with no other information available to staff. <br /> <br />11. Other Business <br /> <br />a. Chair Anderson stated that he would invite the Orono Lake Addition <br />residents to the November meeting. <br /> <br />b. A brief discussion was held on the Council's reappointment policy. <br /> <br />c. The Tennis Association is attempting to generate interest in <br />reconstructing the tennis courts at the Senior High School. After <br />a brief discussion, it was the consensus of the Commission to let <br />District 728 take the lead role on this project. <br /> <br />12.
