Elk River <br />Municipal Utilities UTILITIES COMMISSION MEETING <br />TO: <br />FROM: <br />ERMU Commission <br />Mark Hanson — General Manager <br />MEETING DATE: <br />AGENDA ITEM NUMBER: <br />April 11, 2023 <br />6.1a <br />SUBJECT: <br />Staff Update <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />None <br />DISCUSSION: <br />• I'm happy to report that Matt Zipp, Alex Paschall, and Alex Bernier did an outstanding job <br />representing ERMU in APPA's 2023 Lineworkers Rodeo last weekend in Kansas City, Kansas. <br />Although they didn't have the fastest times or the highest scores (it's hard to compete with <br />the southern teams that can train for three months instead of three weeks), they were <br />pleased with their results and enjoyed the opportunity to interact with the vendors in <br />attendance and share tips and tricks with their fellow competitors. I'd also like to <br />compliment jersey-designer-extraordinaire Angela Hauge for creating the most sought after <br />design of the entire competition!
