For example, if an employee receives an anniversary increase <br />on May 15 and a COLA on July 1, the employee's payment would be <br />based on three pay rates: the rate from January 1 to May 14, the rate <br />from May 15 to June 30, and the rate from July 1 to December 3i , <br />If an employee becomes eligible during the year, payment wiii be <br />prorated based on the number of months of eligibility. for example, if an <br />employee completes five yeQrs of service on April 2, efigibility under WIP <br />sfiarts on May 1. The employee would be paid for eight (8) months of WIP <br />pay provided the employee passes both physical fitness tests, passes the <br />skilis test, and provides evidence of compliance for community service, <br />weliness, and education. <br />
