City Hall Reroof <br />Ell< River, Minnesota <br />S-10 Project Storage Area <br />The City will provide material storage at each location to the extent possible. <br />Documentation of insurance for materials and equipment must be provided to the city prior to storage <br />occurring on city property. The Contractor may choose to locate his own storage area and acquire <br />permission from the appropriate parties to store equipment and materials. The Contractor shall be <br />responsible for restoring the storage area back to its original condition. <br />S-11 Inspection Of Work <br />The City of Elk River will provide Observation of the work. City, County, or State <br />agencies having jurisdiction as deemed necessary by those authorities, may make additional <br />observation of the work. <br />S-12 Mobilization <br />Mobilization is considered incidental and should be considered in the bids of <br />individual items. <br />S-13 All Work Associated with Bidding <br />1. All associated work shall be accounted for within the submitted bid for the removal and <br />reinstallation of all associated work to replace the existing roofing system. <br />2. All necessary and miscellaneous carpentry work shall be included within the submitted bid. <br />3. Remove and dispose of all ballast material/rock. <br />4. Remove and replace existing 60 Mil EPDM system. <br />5. Remove and replace existing roofing insulation with same specification or equal. <br />6. Remove and replace all parapet capping with same product specification or equal. <br />7. Provide allowance for removing and replacing necessary roofing materials and associated <br />work for under all rooftop units, including associated rooftop curbs if deemed necessary by <br />contractor. <br />8. Install necessary metal cleats (per manufacturers recommendation) on existing metal roofing <br />9. Remove and replace 49 feet gutter at City Hall entry way and associated downspouts <br />10. Provide allowance for procurement and installation for 20 feet of safety railing/guardrail (if <br />required by building code). <br />11. Salvage roof walkway pads and reinstall as required or directed by Gary Lore. <br />12. Salvage and reinstall lighting protection equipment. <br />General Conditions 00800 - 29 <br />
