There are at least eight existing water service stubs to this property; all <br />unused water services shall be shut off and disconnected at the main, and <br />the stop box shall be removed by a licensed plumber or licensed sewer <br />installer at the expense of the property owner. <br />Motion carried 5-0. <br />7.6 Administrative Subdivision: Beaudry Elk River Addition <br />Mr. Carlton presented the staff report. <br />Mayor Dietz opened the public hearing. There being no one to speak to this issue, <br />Mayor Dietz continued the public hearing to November 7, 2022. <br />Moved by Councilmember Christianson and seconded by Councilmember <br />Wagner to continue Item 7.6 regarding the Administrative Subdivision: <br />Beaudry Elk River Addition to the November 7, 2022, City Council meeting. <br />Motion carried 5-0. <br />8.1 Ordinance Amendment: Incorporate 2022 State Liquor Regulations <br />Ms. Allard presented the staff report. She stated that the city can decide to be more <br />restrictive on regulations if desired. Fees were discussed, including a $50 fee for the <br />processing applications for the special events extended hours permit. <br />Councilmember Wagner questioned the additional fees since there are already liquor <br />license fees. <br />Councilmember Westgaard stated the additional fees will offset staff time costs. <br />Councilmember Wagner abstained because she has a liquor license. <br />Moved by Councilmember Christianson and seconded by Councilmember <br />Westgaard to adopt Ordinance 22-24 amendment incorporating 2022 state <br />liquor regulations into city code. Motion carried 4-0. Councilmember Wagner <br />abstained. <br />8.2 Purchase Agreement for Fire Department Aerial Apparatus <br />Fire Chief Dickinson and Assistant Fire Chief Wandersee presented the staff report. <br />Assistant Fire Chief Wandersee explained there were three payment options — pay in <br />full, partial pre -payment, and pay at the end of the 3-year period. <br />Mayor Dietz asked Ms. Ziemer the merits of paying in full to get a discount from the <br />company versus investing the money and earning interest over the next 2-3 years. <br />tBEfAE1 'r <br />MATURE <br />
