The agreement includes use of limited space in the facility for
board meetings, tryouts, tourney, and event use at no cost, and ER Hockey logos on both ice surfaces. The
agreement includes damage provisions similar to the MN Squatch contract previously approved.
The city attorney drafted and reviewed the contract.
ERYHA currently leases space in a business park for office, storage and dryland training and requested similar
opportunities within the facility. That agreement was drafted separately. The facility design included space intended
for lease by youth organizations.
Financial Impact
Establishes a minimum ice purchase of $414,000 per year for each two seasons 2022-23 and 2023-24.
Mission/Policy/Goal
Provides revenue to support sustainable facility practices while creating opportunities that foster pride in our
community.
Attachments
■ ERYHA 2022-2024 Ice Contract
The Elk River Vision
A welcoming community with revolutionary and spirited resourcefulness, exceptional
service, and community engagement that encourages and inspires pi ospei ly.
M
TUREJ
Updated.• August 2020
