HIGHWAY 10 CORRIDOR STUDY - FINAL REPORT <br />Stakeholder and Public Engagement Round 2 <br />To gather feedback on the long-term corridor alternatives for Highway 10, the study team facilitated <br />a variety of public and stakeholder activities as discussed below. <br />Technical Advisory Board Meeting <br />The second Technical Advisory Board (TAB) meeting was held in May 2021. The primary goal of the <br />meeting was to discuss the public engagement feedback received to date, review the long-term <br />alternatives and preliminary evaluation, and gather consensus on the long-term vision for the <br />Highway 10 corridor. The presentation and meeting summary from TAB meeting 2 is in Append&A. <br />The outcome from the TAB meeting was consensus for the long-term vision for Highway 10 to be <br />grade -separated. <br />Focus Group Meetings <br />The second round of virtual focus group meetings were held in May and June 2021. There were <br />separate meetings held with representatives from the local business community, representatives <br />from the freight hauler community, and local elected officials. Each meeting included a brief <br />presentation followed by an open discussion with attendees. The goal of each meeting was to gather <br />feedback on each group's preference for the long-term vision for Highway 10. Detailed feedback <br />received is in AppendixA. <br />There were three businesses represented at the focus group meeting, the study team learned the <br />following: <br />Maintaining business access on/off Highway 10 and across Highway 10 is <br />important. <br />There was consensus for the long-term vision for Highway 10 to be grade- <br />separated. Minimizing business impacts during implementation will be <br />important. <br />There were four freight haulers represented at the focus group meeting, the study team learned the <br />following: <br />Primary concerns were access on/off Highway 10 and safety. <br />There was consensus for the long-term vision for Highway 10 to be grade - <br />separated. <br />a`�NWgy�o <br />�RRI000.5\"� <br />
