The report recommends
that Northstar plan for the use of B2 bio-diesel which presents no technical risk, nor does
it increase the projected operating cost. Mr. DiBrito noted that the bio-diesel
concentration level can be changed at any time during the operation of the Northstar
system. Thus, blending percentages can be increased or decreased without changes to
the equipment or infrastructure. This makes choosing bio-diesel a relatively low risk
decision. Concentration levels can be changed as economic dictate.
c) Advanced and Final Design of LRT Connection: Steve Apanian gave an update on the
LRT connection.
