From: Austin Bonnstetter < >
Sent: Friday, May 13, 2022 9:14 PM
To: Portner, Cal <CPortner@ElkRiverMN.gov>; hgoodin@envisioncompany.com; Leeseberg, Chris
<CLeeseberg@ElkRiverMN.gov>
Subject: Public Comment
Austin Bonnstetter
Hello,
I am writing in support of the conditional use permit for ERX motor park in Elk River. ERX was and has
been the reason my family, friends, and relatives would venture north of the Twin Cities from Iowa. ERX
allowed us to enter the world of snocross around 2014, and we haven't had a winter without a trip there
since. When we come to ERX, we stay in local hotels for a entire weekend and enjoy places such as Short
or Tall, and all the local breweries, pubs, and eateries. The economic and social / developmental
(snocross, short course off -road) impact of ERX should not be sold short. It is a hidden gym in the north
for all ages.
Thanks,
Austin Bonnstetter
