<br />Planning Commission <br />Janu~ry 24, 1984 <br />Page Four <br /> <br />D 6~. <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />D <br /> <br />Minutes <br /> <br />Ordinance Amendment to Section 900.16(2) of the City's Zoning Ordinance <br /> <br />Rick Breezee, Building and Zoning Administrator indicated that the fairgrounds <br />are expanding their operation, and in o~der to enlarge their type of operation, <br />the City Council would like to recommend that "Fairgrounds" are put in as a <br />conditional use in the Elk River Zoning Ordinance. <br /> <br />COMMISSIONER TRALLE MOVED TO RECOMMEND TO THE CITY COUNCIL THAT SECTION 900.l6(2)h <br />OF THE ELK RIVER ZONING ORDINANCE BE AMENDED TO ADD SECTION H (FAIRGROUNDS). <br />COMMISSIONER HARTMAN SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION PASSED 6-0. <br /> <br />7. Administrative Update <br /> <br />A. Upcoming presentations and proposals by Zack Johnson and City Staff. <br /> <br />B~ Cliff Lundberg <br /> <br />Rick Breezee, Building and Zoning Administrator indicated that Cliff Lundberg <br />has applied for a variance request for the building which has burned down <br />and is formally known as Cotrelli's Pizza. <br /> <br />C. <br /> <br />Mineral Extraction <br /> <br />Rick Breezee indicated that Bauerly Brothers and Elk River Bituminous have <br />applied for conditional use permits for mineral extraction. <br /> <br />D. <br /> <br />Wapiti Park, Assembly of God Church and Legion Club <br /> <br />Rick Breezee indicated that Wapiti Park, Assembly of God Church and the <br />Legion Club have applied for conditional use permits. <br /> <br />Commissioner Tralle indicated that he would like some date on demographics in <br />Elk River. He indicated that it would help the Planning Commission to get a <br />better overall picture, and it would help them to be able to look ahead. <br /> <br />There being no further business, COMMISSIONER OSTER MOVED THAT THE MEETING BE <br />ADJOURNED. COMMISSIONER WARD SECONDED THE MOTION.
