Consider Conditional Use Request to Allow Temporary Real Estate Office <br />by Charles Christian/P.H. <br /> <br />Mr. Charles Christian of 11515 201st Ave.NW , Elk River is requesting a <br />conditional use permit to allow temporary real estate office on Lot 8, <br />Block 1, Deerfield 3rd Addition. <br /> <br />COMMISSIONER MORTON MOVED TO TABLE THIS ITEM UNTIL THE JANUARY 26. 1988 <br />PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING TO ALLOW STAFF MORE TIME TO RESEARCH THE <br />SITUATION. COMMISSIONER SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> <br />7. Consider Variance Request by Mr. Gerald Smith/Public Hearing <br /> <br />Mr. Gerald Smith of 7815 Shingle Creek Drive. Brooklyn Park, Minnesota is <br />requesting a 400 ft. encroachment on the 500 ft. maximum length of a cu1- <br />de-sac road to accommodate four lots. <br /> <br />The Planning Commission raised the following concerns in regards to this <br />item. <br /> <br />1. Further division of the lots proposed, if and when. sewer and water <br />becomes available in the area. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />Easements from the proposed dead end <br />development of adjacent properties <br />deadend road in the future. <br /> <br />road <br />and the <br /> <br />to accommodate the <br />elimination of the <br /> <br />COMMISSIONER KROPUENSKE MOVED TO TABLE THIS ITEM UNTIL THE JANUARY 26. <br />1988 PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING TO GIVE THE PETITIONER A CHANCE TO <br />ADJUST THE CONCERNS. COMMISSIONER KIMBALL SECONDED THE MOTION. THE <br />MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> <br />8. Variance Request by Darkenwald Family Partnership/Public Hearing <br /> <br />Staff member. Stephen Rohlf, indicated that the petitioners withdrew this <br />request. <br />
