<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Page 11 <br /> <br />Planning Commission Minutes <br />January 27. 1987 <br /> <br />John Weicht stated he is considering constructing a building for daycare <br />purposes on the corner of Proctor and School Street and questioned <br />whether or not this would be included in the ordinance amendment. The <br />Building and Zoning Administrator suggested that daycares be allowed on <br />property which would be called "commercial in nature." <br /> <br />After furter discussion. the Planning Commission concluded that the <br />property Mr. Weicht was referring to should possibly be rezoned rather <br />than be considered "commercial in nature" due to the fact this is very <br />hard to determine. <br /> <br />Jodi Kreuser indicated she was interested in the daycare site proposed by <br />Mr. Weicht. <br /> <br />Chairman Wilson closed the public hearing. <br /> <br />COMMISSIONER BARRETT MOVED TO RECOMMEND TO THE CITY COUNCIL AN ORDINANCE <br />AMENDMENT TO ALLOW DAYCARES AS CONDITIONAL USES IN THE FOLLOWING ZONES <br />AND WITH THE FOLLOWING NUMBER OF CHILDREN ALLOWED IN EACH OF THE <br />FOLLOWING ZONES: <br /> <br />A. A=l - DA'fCAU: CBNTBRS FOR 13 OR MORB CHILDRBN IN CHURCHES OR PUBLIC <br />BUILDINGS. <br /> <br />R-1 & R-2- DAYCARE CENTERS FOR 13 OR MORE CHILDREN IN CHURCHES OR <br />PUBLIC BUILDINGS. <br /> <br />C. R-4 - DAYCARE CENTERS FOR 17 OR MORE CHILDREN. <br /> <br />D. C-l - DAYCARE CENTERS. <br /> <br />E. C-3A - DAYCARE CENTERS. <br /> <br />F. C-4 - DAYCARE CENTERS. <br /> <br />G. R-3 - DAYCARE CENTERS FOR 17 OR MORE CHILDREN. <br /> <br />COMMISSIONER MORTON SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION PASSED 5-0. <br /> <br />14.11. 14.12. 14.13.0rdinance Amendment Pertaining to Model Homes <br />Public Hearing <br /> <br />The Building and Zoning Administrator noted that items 14.11. 14.12. and <br />14.13 pertained to model homes being allowed in the City as a principal <br />use. <br /> <br />Chairman Wilson opened the public hearing for items 14.11. 14.12. and <br />14.13. No one appeared for or against these ordinance amendments. <br />Chairman Wilson closed the public hearing. <br />
