to be removed <br />Underlines to be added <br />ver <br />Ordinance 22 - 6 <br />City of Elk River <br />An Ordinance Establishing New Ward Boundaries, <br />of the City of Elk River, Minnesota, City Code <br />The City Council of the City of Elk River does hereby ordain as follows: <br />SECTION 1. City Ward Boundaries <br />The City of Elk River shall be composed of, and hereby is divided into four wards, and may be <br />further divided into precincts as approved by resolution of the City Council, for purposes of all <br />elections conducted within the City of Elk River shown on the attached map and described below: <br />a. Ward 1 <br />All that property within the corporate limits of the City lying within the following described <br />boundary: <br />Beginning at the intersection of the Zebulon Street alignment (western corporate boundary) <br />and the Mississippi River, then proceeding north along the western corporate boundary of <br />the City of Elk River to the intersection of said corporate boundary with the BNSF Railroad, <br />thence east along the centerline of the BNSF Railroad to County Road 44, thence north <br />along the centerline of County Road 44 to County Road 1, thence south and east along the <br />centerline of County Road 1 to the intersection of said corporate boundary with the BNSF <br />Railroad, thence south and east along the centerline of the BNSF Railroad to Main Street, <br />thence west along the centerline of Main Street to Wright County Road 42 Bridge (also <br />known as Parrish Avenue), thence south on the Wright County Road 42 Bridge to the <br />Mississippi River, thence west along the Mississippi River to the point of beginning. <br />b. Ward 2 <br />All that property within the corporate limits of the City lying within the following described <br />boundary: <br />Beginning at the intersection of the Zebulon Street alignment (western corporate boundary) <br />and the BNSF Railroad, then proceeding north along the western corporate boundary of the <br />City of Elk River to the intersection of said western corporate boundary and the 229`' Street <br />Alignment (northern corporate boundary), thence east along the northern corporate <br />boundary of the City of Elk River to the intersection of said corporate boundary and the <br />Jarvis Street alignment (eastern corporate boundary), thence south along the eastern <br />corporate boundary of the City of Elk River to the intersection of said corporate boundary <br />and County Road 13, thence south and west along the centerline of County Road 13 to the <br />Northern States Power Company transmission line, thence north and west along the <br />centerline of the Norther States Power Company transmission line to Trunk Highway 169, <br />thence north along the centerline of Trunk Highway 169 to County Road 33, thence west <br />Last Updated January 2019 <br />P 0 1 E R E 1 RI <br />NATURE <br />
