<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Planning Commission Minutes <br />November 26, 1991 <br /> <br />Page 3 <br /> <br />The Planning Commission briefly discussed the screening of the air <br />conditioning units. Staff suggested that two plantings be put at each <br />location of the units. Mr. Santwire was in agreement with staff. <br /> <br />Commissioner Bischoff suggested that the accessory garage only be used <br />by the tenants of the building and not to be used for leasing purposes. <br />This was also the general consensus of the Planning Commi ssion and <br />staff. <br /> <br />COMMISSIONER BISCHOFF MOVED TO APPROVED THE SITE PLAN FOR LOT 3, BLOCK <br />6, BARRINGTON PLACE PUD BY R.E.P. LTD WITH THE FOLLOWING STIPULATIONS: <br /> <br />1. THAT DRAINAGE BE ACCOMPLISHED AS SHOWN ON THE PROPOSED SITE PLAN. <br /> <br />2. THAT A MINIMUM OF TWENTY-FIVE (25) PARKING STALLS ARE CREATED AND <br />STRIPED INCLUDING THE GARAGE STALLS ON THIS SITE AS SHOWN ON THE <br />PROPOSED SITE PLAN. <br /> <br />3. THAT THE SETBACKS ARE ADHERED TO AS PROPOSED, ON THE SITE PLAN. <br />4. THAT SIGNAGE BE AS ALLOWED UNDER C-3 STANDARDS. <br /> <br />5. THAT SPRUCE (5 TO 6 FT. IN HEIGHT) BE PLANTED ON THE EAST SIDE OF <br />THIS PROPERTY LINE IN A SPACING THAT PROVIDES AN 80% OPACITY <br />OUTSIDE OF THE DRAINAGE/UTILITY EASEMENTS, BUT NOT ADJACENT TO THE <br />PROPOSED GARAGE TO BUFFER THIS USE FROM THE ADJACENT RESIDENTIAL <br />PROPERTY TO THE EAST. <br /> <br />6. THAT THE SPECIFIC MATERIALS USED FOR THE EXTERIOR OF THIS BUILDING <br />(INCLUDING ROOF) ARE IDENTIFIED AND THAT THOSE MATERIALS MEET THE <br />CITY'S ARCHITECTURAL STANDARDS ON ALL THREE SIDES OF THE PROPOSED <br />ADDITION. <br /> <br />7. THAT 10 BUSHES BE PLANTED ADJACENT TO THE EAST WALL OF THE GARAGE. <br /> <br />8. THAT TWO PLANTINGS BE PUT BY EACH LOCATION OF THE AIR CONDITIONING <br />UNITS ON THE NORTH SIDE OF THE PROPERTY. <br /> <br />9. THAT THE ACCESSORY BUILDING BE USED ONLY BY THE TENANTS AND <br />EXISTING OFFICE RETAIL AND ALSO THAT THE GARAGE IS NOT TO BE USED <br />FOR GENERAL LEASING. <br /> <br />COMMISSIONER SPOTTS SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 6-0. <br /> <br />8. <br /> <br />Discussion Items. <br /> <br />8.1 <br /> <br />Reappointment to the Planninl! Commission <br /> <br />Steve Rohlf, Building & Zoning Administrator, stated that those <br />commission members whose terms expire this year and who wish to apply <br />for reappointment to the Planning Commission need to submit a letter of <br />intent to the City by December 13, 1991. <br /> <br />8.2 <br /> <br />1992 Planninl!
