City Council Minutes Page 7 <br />February 7, 2022 <br />----------------------------- <br />10.5 Memorial Day Parade <br /> <br />Mayor Dietz presented the staff report <br /> <br />Council discussed city sponsorship of a Memorial Day parade. <br /> <br />Mayor Dietz will bring further details to a future meeting for consideration. <br />------------------------------- <br /> <br />ERX Motorsports Complaints <br />Council discussed complaints they received over the past weekend, February 5-6, 2022, <br />regarding an ERX event. There were complaints regarding the noise and ERX operating <br />outside of their allotted boundaries according to their Conditional Use Permit (CUP). <br /> <br />Mr. Portner stated there is a meeting scheduled with ERX regarding the event and what <br />their CUP entails. He also noted ERX is working on a CUP for their expansion. <br /> <br />Mayor Dietz asked Mr. Portner to report back to Council after the meeting and asked him <br />to express the Council’s concern regarding the events and respect for the residents living <br />around that area. <br /> <br />Presentations at Meetings <br />Council agreed there should be a presentation before large public hearing topics. <br /> <br />Council also agreed residents should have the opportunity to comment on projects that <br />have large impacts whether a public hearing is required or not. <br /> <br />11.
