<br />SECTION 3.0 ESTABLISHMENT OF ZONING DISTRICTS. <br />The flood plain areas within the jurisdiction of this ordinance are hereby <br />divided into two districts: Floodway Districts (FW) and Flood Fringe Districts <br /> <br />(FF). The boundaries of these districts are shown on the Federal Insurance <br /> <br /> <br />Administration Flood Insurance Study Map. <br /> <br /> <br />Permit applications for areas designated as unnumbered A Zones by the Flood <br /> <br /> <br />Insurance Study for the City of Elk River shall be evaluated in accordance with <br /> <br /> <br />procedures in Section 9.52. Based on this evaluation, the area in question shall <br /> <br />be assigned to the Floodway Distric~ or the Flood Fringe District as appropriate <br /> <br /> <br />and a flood protection elevation shall be det~rmined. <br />
