Infrastructure & Urban Service Area <br />Management Vision Statement <br />In 2035, Elk River will continue to demonstrate its commitment to managing growth in a responsible manner. <br />Growth will occur and the small-town charm of Elk River will remain in place by taking advantage of infill and <br />redevelopment opportunities at appropriate densities with utilization of existing utilities. As growth demands, the <br />extension of the Urban Service Area will occur only in strategic priority areas that are adjacent to the existing city <br />services boundary.
