With most of the infrastructure in this park replaced
or new, rehabilitation of the trail system will help make the entire park seem complete and renewed. The
change order includes a full depth reclamation of the existing trails and replacement according to current
design widths and depths.
CO 2.2 — Freeport Street Improvements
It is intended to have the segment of Freeport Street between Gates Avenue and Lincoln Circle edge milled
and overlayed with this scope of the change order. This segment of Freeport Street is in far worse shape
than the remainder and will become a challenged location to complete maintenance on in the next 3-years of
local detouring around the 169 Redefine project.
Financial Impact
CO 2.1 - $177,922.28
■ Active Elk River funds used for the entire cost.
CO 2.2 - $144,236.64
Pavement Management funds used for entire cost.
Approval of Change Order 2 keeps the project below the original CIP estimate.
Mission/Policy/Goal
Opportunity to live, work, and play.
Attachments
■ Change Order 2
The Elk River Vision
A welcoming community with revolutionary and spirited resourcefulness, exceptional
service, and community engagement that encourages and inspires pi ospei ly.
M
TUREJ
Updated.• August 2020
