Goal 1 : <br /> Enable continuity,access,and efficient mobility on road- <br /> ways for automobiles and trucks. <br /> Policies: <br /> • Enhance east-west connections in conjunction with the 169 Rede- <br /> fine Project <br /> • Develop north-south connectivity to relieve congestion and create <br /> better access. <br /> • Make improvements to provide roadway network continuity and <br /> protect residential areas as new development occurs. <br /> • Coordinate with City of Elk River stakeholders and adjacent munic- <br /> ipalities on roadway projects to prepare for and support future <br /> growth. <br /> Goal 2: <br /> Support a safe and connected multimodal transportation <br /> network. <br /> Policies: <br /> • Implement complete streets. <br /> • Enhance pedestrian and cyclist connections to key destinations. <br /> • Support a network of multimodal options through coordination <br /> with transit providers. <br /> • Continue coordination efforts to ensure bike and pedestrian <br /> mobility improvements to the Elk River Trails MasterPlan. <br />
